Here she is, my new automobile (or “whip” if you prefer). A 06 Nissan Xterra 4×4. It hasn’t rained here in a while and the mud flaps are highly effective, but I had fun on an off road trail yesterday with my brother-in-law. Though I have only had her one week, I am extremely impressed with the truck and look forward to thousands of miles on and off the road.

Goodbye
Well I did the unthinkable and sold my Honda. She was a good car and treated me well (pictured here in North Carolina). I have decided to go back to my roots though and buy a SUV… details on her replacement to come…

Mardi Gras
My work asked me to attend a conference in New Orleans earlier this week. Though I had been to New Orleans before, never over the holiday of Mardi Gras. Here are a few shots of the “festivities”. Heather and I truly enjoyed the experience, but agree we need not return to such a god forsaken street – Bourbon.
